Graduation Requirements

To earn a high school diploma from The Ogburn School, Inc., students must complete the following courses:

4 credits English (English 1, 2, 3, 4 required)

4 credits Math (Algebra 1, Geometry required)

4 credits Science (Biology required)

3 credits Social Studies (World History, American History, American Government .5, Economics .5)

1 credit Outdoor Education (Physical Education)

1 credit Life Management

1 credit Career Research & Decision Making

6 credits Electives

Honors Courses Available: Prerequisites apply

A 2.0 GPA is required to earn a high school diploma from The Ogburn School. Students seeking state scholarships may need to meet additional requirements. Parents/students should check with the institutions they plan to attend for current requirements.

Students must submit scores from the MAP assessment (Measure of Academic Progress) each academic year of enrollment before a student is officially promoted.

Juniors and/or Seniors may submit either MAP assessment or SAT/ACT college entrance exam scores to The Ogburn School before students are promoted.

The Ogburn School will refund your money in full if you are not completely satisfied with your academic program. If for any reason, you wish to cancel your enrollment agreement within 14 days after the date of enrollment, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after 14 days of enrollment, refund will not be awarded. Enrollment fee is non-refundable.
